The oil removal flocculant mainly helps the oil that is insoluble in water gather together, which is conducive to rapid precipitation. And it can also extract the oil that is dissolved in the water to form an oil mass. This is something that ordinarycculants such as polychloride and polypropylene cannot do. In addition, this flocculant is a liquid, and the amount of medicine added is only one third the amount of old-style flocculants. It is simple to add, and there is no need for equipment such as a dissolution tank and stirrer that are required old-style solid flocculants such as polychloride and polypropylene, and there is no problem of clogging the dosing pipeline, etc., and it easy to use and saves labor.    Taking the use of a certain steel plant in Hubei as an example: Before use, due to the large amount of oil leakage the continuous casting machine and other reasons, the effluent could only be maintained between 3mg/L and 5mg/L when using the original polychloride and polyylene flocculants. And there is a layer of small oil flowers floating on the chemical oil remover for a long time. After switching to the oil removal flocculant the oil content in the effluent was greatly reduced under the condition that the influent water did not change significantly, and it was controlled below 2mg/L. The small flowers on the water surface were also completely removed. Instead, an oil mass with a diameter of about 2mc was formed at the water inlet, which can be easily removed daily.    From this, we can see that the oil removal flocculant has three main advantages over the old-style polychloride and polypropylene method:
