When used as a bactericidal and algaecidal agent, the general dosage is 50-100mg/L; when used as a slime stripper, the usual dosage is 200-300mg/L, and an appropriate amount of organosilicon defoamer can be added if necessary. Bactericides with similar properties can be compounded with each other, which not only saves costs but also achieves better results. 1227-type bactericides cannot be used together with chlorophenol-based agents. After adding 1227, different degrees of dirt will appear in the circulating water after the system has been running for a period of time, which should be filtered or cleaned in time to avoid more deposits after a long time. 1227 must not be mixed with anionic surfactants.

Oxidizing bactericidal and algaecidal agents and non-oxidizing bactericidal and algaecidal agents should generally be used alternately to avoid efficacy conflicts that may affect on-site operation. For the same system, the dosages of the two are different. Generally speaking, the dosage of oxidizing bactericides is slightly less than that of non-oxidizing bactericides. The specific dosage should be determined according to the size of the on-site system and the quality of the water.

Polymer-based bactericides cannot be used with anionic surfactants, as mixing them will cause reactions and pose certain hidden dangers to production. Before compounding bactericides, it is necessary to conduct a small-sample compatibility test first, and only after the test is successful can it be applied in actual production.

Packaging and Storage

Bactericidal and algaecidal agents are packaged in plastic barrels, 25kg or 200kg per barrel; they can also be packaged according to customer requirements. Store in a cool and ventilated place indoors, with a shelf life of one year. It cannot be stored together with flammable and explosive items.

Safety and Protection

Most bactericidal and algaecidal agents have little irritation to human skin. If they accidentally come into contact with the skin, they should be rinsed with plenty of water continuously in time.
